According to research by ESDO and IPEN conducted in 2019 and 2021 and published in 2024 Noyapara is one of the communities affected by chemical pollution (PFAS). Noyapara is near Jamgora, Ashulia. Nearby areas are Kathgora, Baipayl, Savar, Savar DOHS, and Tongi. Located close to Hakim Market, Noyapara is a neighbourhood that attracts a large number of workers because most of the factories are situated in close proximity to it. Factory workers of this area, particularly females and children, are experiencing various health issues, predominantly related to skin problems and respiratory ailments. They reported eczema and contact dermatitis among the workers of textile factories. They said that textile dyes can act as skin problems, respiratory sensitizers and can lead to choughs, respiratory tract irritation and asthma.
