Workers protests due to unpaid wages at Nassa Knit Ltd, Bangladesh - 2026

Although the protesters lifted the blockade around midday, allowing traffic to gradually resume, congestion persisted for some time. The demonstrations - linked to wider labor mobilization efforts in Savar and beyond, including rallies near Rana Plaza - highlight systemic tensions between workers, employers, and authorities over wages, job security, and working conditions.
